i found the staff quite friendly and helpful. the food was excellent with huge portions. the atmosphere felt very lovely. i did appreciate that everywhere in the hotel was super clean.
i thought the food was very expensive for standard pub grub. two steak and chips with no additional sauces and two soft drinks cost over ÂŁ50. they allow dogs in the eating areas, and that was not ideal.

the rooms felt modern and were clean. the staff members were friendly and always willing to assist. i found the food to be perfect, (especially the breakfast) and the bar included a wide selection of beers and ciders, with local varieties available. there was evening entertainment that featured a local live band, it was quite unexpected but a welcome addition to the evening.

The breakfast was alright. The choice was wide enough i suppose.
The room was fairly large, i suppose, but the supposed 'superior' room was not what i expected. also, the food prices! over ÂŁ50 for a couple of steaks and some soft drinks. they let dogs in the restaurant too. A little off-putting when you are trying to eat.
